Our Mission The Child Care Council of the Finger Lake’s mission is to promote, strengthen, coordinate and expand child care services in Cayuga and Seneca Counties. Our Vision The Child Care Council of the Finger Lakes strives to be a community resource and leader to promote quality early learning experiences for all children in Cayuga and Seneca Counties. We continue to build on community relationships, foster leadership and assist our communities by providing access to comprehensive information to assist in community decision-making. This is accomplished by working with families, child care providers, employers, Human Service organizations, educators, policy members and other members of the community.

Choosing an appropriate child care setting which meets a family's needs is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
The CCR&R does not regulate or monitor child care.
The Child Care Council of the Finger Lakes, Inc. is a member agency of the United Ways of Cayuga and Seneca Counties and is partially funded
by
the New York State Office of Children and Family Services and the NYS Department of Health and the City of Auburn.
The vision of the Council is to assist, educate and promote collaboration among the community, enriching health, growth,
and development as a result of quality early childhood care and education.
