Membership

Choosing child care is one of the most important decisions families make for their children.  The Child Care Council of the Finger Lakes, Inc. strives to be a community resource and leader to promote quality, early childhood development and learning experiences for all children.  We continue to build on community relationships, foster leadership and assist our communities by providing access to comprehensive child care information and resources. We work with families, child care providers, employers, human service organizations, educators, policy makers and other members of the community to ensure that quality child care, resources and information are available to all.  

Membership helps us to support the programs and services that are essential to maintain the high level of quality child care in Cayuga and Seneca County.  Our programs and services benefit not only over 134 child care providers in both Cayuga and Seneca County and numerous Legally Exempt child care providers with child care  resources, information and training, but also benefits the many children in our counties who receive quality care, early learning cognitive and social skills in healthy safe environments.

Your Membership will help:

•       Provide early education services to child care providers, parents and
        community

•       Strengthen communities through interaction and collaboration

•       Coordinate child care referrals and information for all who are in need of child
         care information and  assistance

•       Expand and improve child care for all children in our counties.

The Child Care Council of the Finger Lakes, Inc. is a member agency of the United Ways of Cayuga and Seneca Counties and is partially funded
by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services and the NYS Department of Health and the City of Auburn.

The vision of the Council is to assist, educate and promote collaboration among the community, enriching health, growth,
and development as a result of quality early childhood care and education.
