The Child Care Council of the Finger Lakes, Inc., located in Cayuga and Seneca Counties in central New York State, provides child care resources, information and referrals while expanding knowledge and creating public awareness of child care issues, addresses the issues of quality, affordable, available child care services, and advocates for the young child.

We are committed to our mission of promoting, strengthening, coordinating and expanding child care services in Cayuga and Seneca Counties and maintaining New York State Best Practices standards.

We continue to build on our foundation of building child care in Cayuga and
Seneca Counties through our efforts, our programs and our community collaborations. This could not happen without the dedication and direction of our Board of Directors, the dedicated quality standards provided by our staff, the wonderful collaborative efforts of our communities and the compassionate, devoted service of our child care providers.

"FORE" the Children: A Mini Golf Tournament

The Child Care Council of the Finger Lakes is continuing its fun mini-golf tournament for a third year.  This year’s tournament will be held at Reese’s Dairy Bar and Miniature Golf on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 with a rain date of Wednesday, July 22, 2009.  In additional to the Golf Tournament, there will be great music, a dunking booth with an opportunity to dunk local “celebrity volunteers”, access to local community services’ information and a 50/50 raffle.  Proceeds from the event will be used to assist the Child Care Council of the Finger Lakes programs which benefit families in our Cayuga and Seneca communities, child care providers and especially the youngest members of our population.  We hope that you will join us for a fantastic, fun time!

 We are also providing an opportunity for local service organizations and businesses to set up a table to promote your program or business.  We ask that no items be sold.  However, you are welcome to offer free gifts, promotional materials, etc.  What a fantastic way to promote your organization or business, and have fun while doing it!
